Revue: 2020 weeks #19-21 (May 9 to 29)

Music events: I watched a bunch of events online again. :)

- Way Wave autograph session (via YouTube & Instagram). I bought their latest album "Soul Punch", it was signed live online and delivered a few days later.

- naomi paris tokyo (jan and naomi) "Park Live" (via Ginza Sony Park's Instagram)

- DJ Fukutake 2-hour live set at Yotsuya Outbreak (via YouTube: archive)

- "Funky Side of Ken Shimura" feat. DJ Fukutake on Dommune (via YouTube)

- Mayutan streaming event from home (via Twitcasting). Remembering the event for Masako-san's Sabrina held a year ago, which I had been to. There was live Zoom with other Masako-san members, and also remote and live performances by Mayutan and friends! A very nice time!

- Tokyo Jazz +plus Live Stream festival day 2 (via YouTube: archives). All were great!

- Kenmochi Hidefumi and xiangyu live from Lounge Neo (which is closing at the end of May...) (via Twitch)

- Drummer Tanabe Manaka playing piano from home (via 17)

Radio: A 5th episode of my radio show was aired last week on La Face B (Montréal-based Internet radio)! This time I selected music around a "lounge" theme. Please have a listen below. :)

This time a previously unreleased new recording by Toshiyuki Yasuda was played. He performed on felt piano one of his songs from 20 years ago (from album "Robo*Brazileira"). A must check for all fans! :)

Revue: 2020 weeks #14-17 (April 4 to May 1)

Music events (online): I've been seeing some shows online once in a while! Wakita Monari (accompanied by Dorian and Kayo-chaaan), Hoshino Michiru Iusing a "music card" sold online), a festival kind of show hosted by Takano Hiroshi, a techno DJ & live festival with DÉ DÉ MOUSE & more, a DJ event featuring Natsu Summer, a tabla class by Zakir Hussain,... and probably some more that I forget!

Radio: Another radio episode was aired last week on La Face B (Montréal-based Internet radio)! This time I selected chiptune (retro video game sounds) and music that uses toy musical instruments. Please have a listen below. :)
