Shinjuku Southern Terrace
This week I dropped by Southern Terrace three times just to check if the first Krispy Kreme in Japan would maybe have a queue short enough so that I could pick up some donuts back home. No such luck, there are always over a hundred people lined up in front of the store and up the bridge that leads to Takashimaya. Crazy!
Tonight I took a minute to take these photos of decorated trees on Southern Terrace.

Probably a good thing. Krispykremes are full of trans-fat!

Sure I know. The question is, what donuts _aren't_?

It's certainly more about novelty than about wanting the best donut. Here there's really no reason to line-up at Mister Donut. :)

i agree. when i went there in japan it was just like a regular donut shop, but when they opened here people lined up for hours to get a stupid donut. i even had a student that bought some from yahoo auctions. crazy. where i live now there isn't any mister donuts, but there's a rip off shop called something like "mr. don" but the chinese name is the same. :)
