New iPod!
Today I got a new iPod! I got the 20GB 4th gen.
Lately I had been feeling in need of an upgrade from my 2-year-old 5GB 2nd gen of which the connectors were misbehaving and the battery life was getting a bit short.
I like the [not so] new thinner design, and that you can pick what you want to show up in the main menu, and also Solitaire! I'm not quite yet used to the click wheel, as I liked the good old analog spinning disc, but that's nothing to worry about. :)

Congrats on the new iPOD! May I suggest you also purchase a set of SHURE headphones. Although they cost 20,000 yen at the APPLE store, they are well worth the price. I picked up a pair when I got a 10% discount from the scratch ticket.
They also have a 49,000yen pair that I want to just try and see what the difference is like.

A bit expensive, and I don't like the in-ear type... I think I'll pass. :)
Lately I've been interested by these:

Hmmm, those ones look nice too! The in ear ones do hurt a bit after a long time..

20 GB iPod? That's a lot.... i'd probably be happy with 1 GB. Then again I like listening to the same music all the time.

Actually I was happy with about 5GB on my old one, and maybe I won't use more than that on my new iPod, so I was ready to go with an iPod Mini (4 or 6GB). However, the 20GB iPod is only about ¥5000 ($50USD) more than the 6GB iPod Mini, so of course I went with it. :)
(Good marketing isn't it!)
