Last weekend we did a small trip to Yokohama where we ate delicious food in chinatown and did a bit of shopping, mainly at Akarenga-sōko (aka Red Brick Warehouse).

"Yokohama Customs mascot" looks a bit like the german "Die Maus" from Television. Amazing :-)

In Japan this mascot seems to be known to look like Mamma-chan from Sanma's show.

is yokohama maruko's hometown? i think someone told me that once, but i'm not sure if it's true or not.
