Music 3½ years later...

supermoko ultrabeaver & 超oliveI think it was at Pizzicato Five's last live, on March 31, 2001 at Shibuya On Air East... Orangers were playing a DJ set, and this empty 7" jacket flew over the crowd and into my hand.
At the time I didn't know about Orange Records, so it ended there.

Today, when doing a search for Orange Records, I ended up at this page at Techno Pop Academy which says that there was a single featuring Yagura Kuniaki (Modern Choki Chokies' leader) and Yoshida Tetsuto (Orangers, programmer for Konishi Yasuharu, etc.) released, under the name "supermoko ultrabeaver & chō-olive".
Then a search of "supermoko" brought up... "that jacket!!"

So, over 3 years and a half later, I ended up wanting the record that matches that cool jacket. :)

I picked up a copy of this from Jet Set Records a few weeks ago. (Been trying to complete my Orange Records collection)...

wait - you were at the last P5 concert!?

Only the 2nd half. :)

The show was sold out before I could get a ticket, but I went and hung out outside the venue.
Around midnight (the show was like from 19:00 until 5:00, with something like 40-50 DJs), some kind people who were inside gave their used tickets to the 20 or so who were still waiting outside, through a gap between closed doors, and a used ticket allowed us to "re-enter".
So eventually everyone who was still waiting was able to get in!

My email seems to be working properly.
Perhaps it was down temporarily.

(I removed my email address from your comment to avoid spam.)
