Well this was a bad attempt at illustrating the crow problem in Tokyo. It's worse in larger areas, but where we live there are also many crows making a mess with garbage early morning.
I'm still not used to crows flying about.

once, back in seattle, i'd bought a donut and as i was walking down the street eating it this crow attacked me trying to get me to drop my donut. i guess some crows really like those donuts.

do the crows in tokyo attack people or just make a big mess?

I've never seen any attacking people, but often some have passed about a foot from my head on early mornings in Shibuya or Shinjuku.
I guess it's preferable not to carry a donut. :)

i've been dive-bombed repeatedly by crows in my city - they dive down and
claw my hair and scalp while squaking... always during 'nesting' season... but unprovoked....and at busy intersections. i've come to recognize the sound of an unhappy crow, and am prone do ducking and swinging my purse around wildly at a swooping, squaking crow.
