Well I've been in Japan for over 3 years now and even though I like anime a lot, I hadn't yet seen the classic My Neighbor Totoro (となりのトトロ).
Finally I rented it tonight, and it was great!
Don't wait as long as I did before seeing it. You can even get it for cheap at Amazon.
I still have a bunch of Studio Ghibli movies to see, since the only other ones I have seen are Princess Mononoke (もののけ姫) and Spirited Away (千と千尋の神隠し).
