All Look Same?
Can you tell Asian people apart?

I scored a shameful 4/18, "Hopeless: Might as well toss the coin". Lots of work to do before I can tell Asian people apart...

i scored an 8, which the site response was "Needs a lot more work." i thought i would have got at least 10.
they should do something similar for Cubans/Mexicans/Argentinians/Spanish/etc and another site for like British/caucasian American/French/Australian/German/Swedish/etc. that way a much more meaningful social statement would be made: that there are indeed similarities in people of all ethinicities and it's certainly not exclusive to people of various Asian descent.

I agree with you about the need of other sites with other faces. The author states that point on the About page (http://www.alllooksame.com/about.html), but himself being Japanese he chose Asian faces, perhaps a bit as a challenge to himself too. :)

i did this a long time ago, and did pretty miserably. but i'm not sure the point of this? i mean i've been in japan with taiwanese, and had japanese speak japanese to them thinking they are japanese. i've been in taipei with japanese having taiwanese speak chinese to them, and i've been told from some taiwnanese that other taiwanese have mistook them for japanese. which has taught me it's not such a simple thing.

I remember visiting that site a few years ago (I think it was the same one), and I also didn't do to well. The problem is that I think the pics are all of American-Asians. You can usually spot the differences by their clothing style, makeup, attitude, etc. In Japan it's easy to spot Koreans, Chinese, etc.

Its point is generally "alllookdifferent". Has a nice academic reference to "Northern European" alllooksameness.
