Nomoto Karia "Dance Music"

2½ years after the release of first album "Karly" (it was this agenda's first announcement), Nomoto Karia finally has a new album coming up. Of course, it is produced by Konishi Yasuharu, and if you ask him what he thinks about it, he'll tell you that all tracks are worth a single cut! Most tracks are at Karly's favorite 135 BPM (the two others are at 130 BPM).

The limited edition packaging will be a thin cardboard sleeve and will include 4 Karly photo cards. Art direction is by Konishi Yasuharu. Orders at Tower and HMV will receive an original sticker. Also orders at Amazon, Tower and HMV online will receive free PC wallpaper. Be sure to pre-order, just in case!

Some track notes: "Bombastic Hip House Band" features Kawanishi Suguru on turntable. "G.T.O." features Anchovies, Karly's all-girl band with herself on drums. "Girls In Love" is a cover of Andreas Dorau (YouTube) sung in Japanese. "Karly's Dance Music" is a mix of Karly's remixes for "Tokyo wa yoru no 7ji" and "jiyūdo.". "asobi." features Arai Toshiya (Mr.comicstore) on guitar.

How cool, it sounds really great!!!!

This is the closest to a new P5 album!!! I suppose most tracks are music by KONISHI, Yasuharu...

Yes!! Especially the last two tracks really sound like good old P5! I'm very excited about this one too! :)

All tracks are certainly by Konishi-san, except for the Andreas Dorau cover.

Aah yes! Track eleven is my favourite but what a nice suprise they also did an Andreas Dorau song! I love his music for many, many years. He is really great! (Remember his Fred von Jupiter? It's sooo cute!) Really cool that a German cult-musician is known in Japan. Too bad that Japanese popstars are hardly known in Europe!

Gotta agree on "asobi.", a truly great track that sounds so Pizzicato!
Konishi-san's notes say that he came up with lyrics, melody and the strings phrase in a flash while having a frozen mocha at a cafe.

I love "Girls In Love" too! I had heard Andreas Dorau before on the Bungalow "Ro 3003" compilation, but I feel like I should hear more of him. He also collaborated with FPM before ("Lotto" on album "Luxury").

I hope to get Karly's album very soon. In the meantime I'm playing my old Andreas Dorau-records!
Girls in Love is from the album "70 Minuten Musik ungeklärter Herkunft" from 1997. Till my surprise Karly is singing over the original Dorau-track. As far I can judge on the sample it seems that just some extra drums have been added. So it's not only a cover but a re-work as well.
